HELP HELP BIRD

HELP! Just got back from school run and found this poor baby on my counter in the kitchen. Cat has been at him! How on earth it got in here I don't know.

What do I do?? How do I help this poor bird??
Breathing very rapid. Legs all crooked

Sounds like it might have got in before this morning and been hiding out somewhere in your house.

Poor little thing must have been terrified.

I found a dead bird in my garage once that had obviously flown in when the door was open and got shut in. It really upset me when I found it lying on the floor and thought of how it died.

Hopefully your little chap will go off and be fine.
