This is stuck on the wall opposite my bedroom door. Am I paranoid? Is this a cctv unit?

It's a motion sensor light. Just looked it up. You can get them on ebay for £9

Pantsomime · 19/09/2019 23:38

No idea but why not stick something on it like tin foil and sellotape it down?

Cherrysoup · 19/09/2019 23:39

No idea. Do a reverse google search to find out what it is. Can you take it of the wall? And put it outside?

TheJoxter · 19/09/2019 23:39

Yeah looks like a motion sensor light to me too

Goodlookingcreature · 19/09/2019 23:39

A motion sensor light? Why the hell would he stick it on the wall?! The place is lit up like a Christmas tree

I found the exact thing on ebay which suggests it's a motion sensor LED light

As marshmallow said, pretty sure it's a motion sensor light, but it can't be working otherwise you would have figured that out I would have thought....so as another poster said, cover it over with a sheet of paper and tape. If landlord asks why, ask what it is and tell him not working etc

Goodlookingcreature · 19/09/2019 23:42

Thanks you guys! I was so paranoid there for a moment!!!

Just so that you know, you can get little cameras inside of normal looking items. Just cover it up.

LemonPrism · 20/09/2019 00:43

Cover it but it may have been a previous renter wanting a warning from their child moving around.
