To ask what to wear for 23-25 degree weather on holiday

Sorry this is such a stupid question! I don't really look at the temperature numbers at home in the U.K. I just get dressed according to the weather.

I'm going on holiday to the south of France and the weather says it will be 23-25 degrees. I don't know what kind of clothes that means. The last time I went on holiday was ages ago and I misjudged the weather forecast, was far too hot and ended up having to buy some shorts!

I'd be very grateful to have any suggestions!

For me, that’s shorts weather. Sandals, T-shirt and cardigan. Jeans as well just in case.

Same here. Maybe a light pair of trousers if not comfortable in shorts.

Beware, it might be chillier in the evenings, so you might need a thicker cardigan/jumper and trousers then.

Shorts and t shirts for day time, dresses for the evening. Take leggings/jeans and a couple of warm cardigans in case of colder days and also for if the evenings are chilly.
