Who would put this on a cat? What's it supposed to be for?

Like @Maneandfeathers said. The first time I took my boy to the vet, they used it because he was highly stressed as some will be at a vet visit. Also, he came to us as a stray and was always frightened. He is loving now to us but still scared of visitors. They were actually very gentle and let me back there to see what was going to happen.

They explained it would keep him a bit calmer as he couldn’t see what they were doing. And also so he couldn’t try to bite, as a scared animal might.

It’s like BDSM for cats, wow
