Because I'm a civil servant, I have to phone the tax free childcare department every month to pay my childcare fees. My details are protected meaning I can't use the online services. Which means up to an hour on hold, every month just to make a payment. Surely now? Theyre refusing to let me use online services.

That does sounds ridiculous, does everyone have to do this? I am also a civil servant, back to work in November from mat leave and trying to get my head around the process, would you mind letting me know how it works?

Camenbertsmuggler · 16/09/2019 13:58

I am classed as a civil servant and I've not had any issues paying online

Spanckd · 16/09/2019 13:59

Apparently it could be th department I work in. It's hardly top secret though.

It's just my workplace then. How annoying.
