I regularly frequent a local pub which is delightful.
I've been single for 3 years (totally single iykwim). Nobody in there catches my eye there's a great group of us that know each other very well so we're all mates male and female mostly partnered up.
About 3 weeks ago this totally stunning guy begins to come in regularly and it became a bit of a giggle between us mates.
To cut to the quick it turns out he's staying around the corner from me and we left the pub together and I invited him in for a drink as by now he's divulged that he broke up from his wife a year ago but had just learned stbxw is having a relationship. Clearly he's upset about it.
In he comes to my house and we chat a bit more over a gin and tonic.
Next thing I know he's launched upon me, I kissed him for a bit but he was being too amorous for my liking.
My 23 yo DS came home thank goodness and we all sat and chatted for a while. Gorgeous bloke (GB) goes to the bathroom and was taking ages.
DS went up to see if he was ok and discovered GB had gone to my bed.
DS gently got him to leave whilst I hid and cringed in the utility room above all places Shock as I couldn't handle the confront.
Off GB goes.... OMFG you should have seen the state he'd left the loo in. I am still retching every time I think of it.
I suppose it's a case of chalk it up to experience.
But I'm most unnerved to think things may have been worse had my DS not arrived home.
I've felt awful and vulnerable all weekend.
I'm not young. It's the first time I've even kissed anyone in 3 years.
😱 Sad

You should have kind of packed up his dirty shitty knickers in a plastic bag, and taken them to the pub,to hand them back to him. not pleasant for you I know ha ha. He probably went to your bed with raging stomach ache, and had to lie down, and then he might well have crapped again in your bed, had your son not come home.!!

Monty27 · 17/09/2019 07:35

Not helpful @551forAll74 and rather dramatic. I don't do drama nor confrontation.
Rtht
But thanks for caring. Like I said I was beginning to feel better.
It's over in my head. I'm on the road to recovery.
I need a new pedestal bin for the bathroom though. Smile

Still I saw him earlier and he has apologised profusely. In a very Eton manner

Can you get past it and see him again?

zafferana · 17/09/2019 08:55

Why the fuck would she want to see him again????

salcombebabe · 17/09/2019 09:11

Please make sure you don’t walk home alone from the pub next Friday!!!

ChevalierTialys · 17/09/2019 16:41

I need a new pedestal bin for the bathroom though.

And a new toilet. And a new bed. In fact, burn the house down and start again Grin Grin Grin

You never cease to learn Smile
Thanks everyone for the replies.
I'm still recovering.
But getting there.
And I'm not sure how I could see passed it.

It's Friday. What are your plans for this evening op? I hope you can laugh about last week now.

Monty27 · 24/09/2019 03:43

Hi everyone. Update
Do let me know if I'm boring you....
I went to the pub last Monday evening. He apologised and blamed the gin and tonic. I accepted his apology and he left.
Anyway I was in there last night Monday and he was there making a right nuisance of himself. He's very conceited but he's a creep.
Thank you my mind for keeping me on the straight that night.
I bought a new bathroom pedal bin in Sainsbury's at the weekend Grin

Monty27 · 24/09/2019 22:22

We'll finish it here as I missed a bullet thank goodness.
He is indeed a cock.
Thanks for supporting through the horror [smile

Hi everyone I've resurrected the thread as I just came across it. Thanks everyone.
Update is that he's been barred from the local pub for being a cock to women Grin Grin

Monty27 · 22/02/2020 05:37

Addendum
I've been a local in there and he'd just moved into the area and I'd felt sorry for him and was in hindsight being caring and welcoming. Duh Grin

Give him the receipt for your new bin and say you'll accept the money ASAP.

airbags · 22/02/2020 06:11

Whilst some of this may read as humorous the main point here is that you have no idea who you're inviting into your home and I'm so glad your son came home at the right time. Stay safe.

Mummyoflittledragon · 22/02/2020 06:19

It sounds like a lucky escape op. Just because someone is attractive it doesn’t mean they’re a good or nice person. The loo thing is weird.

Monty27 · 22/02/2020 06:37

I know. It could have been dangerous. Think sas action man type Shock
Had he not been so drunk and shat all over my bathroom which I didn't realise until after he left, me with my head screwed on added with my son in the house it could well have turned into a horror story.
At least I can look back and laugh unlike some victims. I suppose that's one of the reasons for my update.
I did tell some people in the local (the right people) and they were just waiting for an excuse to bar him.
Be careful out there people. Flowers

glad he has been barred

Ugh
Think god your son came back
