...sitting next to the Queen in the car in the way to Church deeply distasteful? I suppose all our institutions are corrupt if you look under the surface, but this is so blatant. How do Monarchists defend it?

A man sitting next to his mother in a car???

MissGiddyPants · 15/09/2019 23:05

Mother and son.

MolyHolyGuacamole · 15/09/2019 23:05

Sleazebag and the Queen

MarieIVanArkleStinks · 15/09/2019 23:06

Oh, they will. I don’t know how, but they will!

SciFiGirl · 15/09/2019 23:07

Is anyone actually buying he had no suspicions at all? Just curious

Pollywollydolly · 15/09/2019 23:08

Maybe it's too far to walk.

Bellsofstclements · 15/09/2019 23:13

I'm sure she's had a stern word or two.

Divebar · 15/09/2019 23:14

Can someone enlighten me?

PickAChew · 15/09/2019 23:15

I can't believe she hasn't made her feelings known, sotto voce

BringTheBounceBack · 15/09/2019 23:15

I need to know

Thesearmsofmine · 15/09/2019 23:15

I think it shows what the royal family actually think of the plebs.

Streamside · 16/09/2019 00:05

It's hardly outrageous to sit beside your elderly mother in a car .I'm sure this was quite normal for him, he's just being followed around by photographers at the minute so it looks set up.

GlitchStitch · 16/09/2019 00:13

YANBU, the laughing and grinning is distasteful, they did the same just after the allegations started coming out too. It reflects badly on the Queen IMO, like she is allowing herself to be used as a means of damage control. They are usually a bit more subtle but this is blatant.

zen1 · 16/09/2019 00:16

He is the Queen's favourite and knows how to manipulate the situation.

GrouchoMrx · 16/09/2019 00:19

The Queen has accepted Philip's behaviour for decades. She is hardly likely to reject her own son because he is an alleged rapist.

Meirou90 · 16/09/2019 00:31

They’re disgusting parasites, the lot of them. Wouldn’t trust one member of that family to look after my kids.

Rachelover60 · 16/09/2019 00:52

Prince Andrew hasn't been accused of rape.

Evilspiritgin · 16/09/2019 01:00

I can’t stand seeing the queen with Jerry Adams or Martin McGuinness

BrendasUmbrella · 16/09/2019 01:16

Is anyone actually buying he had no suspicions at all?

Had no suspicions?! I won't type out my thoughts but I think it goes deeper than suspicions.

The Queen is elderly, she doesn't want to deal with this shit anymore. We all know nothing will come of it anyway. Maybe 50 years after he dies the press will pipe up with "Oh wait, we just remembered he was involved. Justice for the victims!"

viques · 16/09/2019 01:40

The queen has had to host many unsavoury characters in the past. I am sure having to be charming to despots , bigots, thugs and murderers has been good training for sitting next to obnoxious members of her own family.

1forAll74 · 16/09/2019 01:41

The Queen was taking Andrew to church, to go and confess his sins, and ask for forgiveness,, then by royal order, all will be well again. !

Gingerkittykat · 16/09/2019 02:12

Was that today or the ones from a few weeks ago?

It is clearly a visual display of the Queen's opinion, he should have stepped out of the public gaze.

Winterlife · 16/09/2019 02:29

I do buy he had no suspicions, as from everything I have read, he is dumber than a bag of hammers.

SamanthaBrique · 16/09/2019 07:46

YANBU.

boptist · 16/09/2019 07:57

I wonder how The Crown would handle this.
