To have a 3rd child?

I realise no one can really tell me if it's the right thing for my family or not, but I'd appreciate some perspectives!

So I have two beautiful children, DS 2.5 and DD 9 months. I am a SAHM, and my DH works full time on a good wage. Very happy marriage, same views on bringing up the children etc.

We always agreed that we would like 3, but after our DD was born, DH said that as we have one of each, he feels that he wouldn't want anymore. I initially agreed whilst in the throws of a newborn, but lately I've been thinking I would quite like a 3rd. I come from a small family and have always wanted to have a large one myself. I love being a mum, and I just don't feel like I'm done having them yet.

We were hoping to move to a bigger house with a garden (currently own a 4 bed terrace) when I get back to work in a couple of years, so if we went for it and had a 3rd, this will obviously be put on hold for a long while. We'd also need a bigger car for 3 car seats. On the emotional side, I'd be concerned with my attention being further split from my two DC, and part of me thinks I might just struggle to cope with 3. So those are the negatives.

As far as baby stuff is concerned, we've kept pretty much everything so wouldn't need to buy much.

Arg I'm just so torn. It's definitely a soon-or-never thing as I would like them all to be close in age. Has anyone had any experiences of going from 2 children to 3? Do you cope? Is it unfair to current DC?

I should add that all this would be contingent on me actually convincing my DH in the first place Confused although I am having a few problems with hormonal contraception atm and I brought up the option on a vasectomy to DH and he didn't seem keen (maybe he's thinking 'what of we do want another in the future'?)

Sorry for the long post x
