Marking yourself safe on FB

Really is attention seeking when you've already posted on FB about the situation so your friends and family know you are Ok and actually some distance away from the worst of the issues.

Why then 'mark yourself safe ' some 36 hours after your original posting Confused

Bizarre

Because FB puts the ‘mark safe’ option at the top of the page when something has happened where you live. You don’t go searching for the option, it’s right there. Or it was when I was in this situation.

Yanbu embarrassingly attention seeking. You can access fb but not anyone directly to let them know you are safe HmmHmm

@PlatinumBrunette you still have to mark yourself though.
