To ask if this is normal (contraception)?

So I've been on every type of hormonal contraception going. Some were awful, some were ok, but all of them have killed my sex drive. I've been on contraception since I was 16 so hard to tell how I feel without them as obviously I was a randy teenager when I first went on them.
After having ds I went onto the mirena coil and it's amazing, I feel great. The only thing is about once a month I have a few days to a week of feeling incredibly up for it. So much so that I could honestly just invite the workmen outside my office in for a quickie, it's that intense a feeling.
It's not just that though, everything is better during this time of the month. Music sounds better, food tastes better, driving feels amazing Confused I feel like I'm better at my job, like I'm getting loads done and my boss is very impressed and I can do no wrong. Obviously this is all in my head and I have to keep reminding myself that it's not a real feeling and just happens once a month!
I also work in the medical world so another thought I've had is 'is it bipolar or another sort of mood disorder?' But then I don't get the lows. So confused!

I suspect that your need to bump this is because people are treating your post with caution.
What is your point exactly?

Hoopearringsandacorona · 14/09/2019 13:28

My point is do other people feel this way or is it the contraception?
