People stick their tongues out in photos. .... gives me the rage!

I have a mate (2, actually) who do this in a horribly self conscious manner. It makes me cringe. I’ve had to hide their feeds. 😳

ThePallidBustOfPallas · 12/09/2019 22:02

It's very Kerry Katona isn't it. Never a good look.

and pouting and the peace sign

NearlyGranny · 12/09/2019 22:29

Rather have tongues sticking out than all that posey pouting!

Drogosnextwife · 12/09/2019 22:32

Yup, no one just smiles for a picture anymore. I thought the pouting was bad enough when teens and adults did it, now on too many occasions I've witnessed young children doing it. Its weird.

Smidge001 · 12/09/2019 22:38

It's terrible isn't it!!
I mean, why do they actually do it? Do they suddenly stick their tongue out randomly during the working day, or is it only when a camera is around?

spanglydangly · 13/09/2019 07:15

Oh yes the trout pout is equally irritating!

If it’s one photo, fine. If it’s every photo, it’s tedious. That said, I’d rather people poked their tongue out than did a duck-face or stuck one of those awful puppy ears filters over the picture.

RapunzelsRealMom · 13/09/2019 12:53

My 14 yr old DD's friend does this in every pic. It's very clearly intended to be seductive which really worries me.

DD has been warned not to follow suit! I don't love her pout and peace sign pose but it's preferable to the images this particular friend emulates
