The 'c word'

Christmas is Christmas. The "c word" is not referring to Christmas, something quite different. All over social media people saying "is it too early to talk about the c word?" Stop it.

I use the C word often and it ain’t Christmas!

badlamp · 12/09/2019 19:07

Isn't that the joke?!

Jbraise · 12/09/2019 19:09

I hate the c word (not Christmas). I gave a girl in my class a right telling off using the word yesterday

ThisHereMamaBear · 12/09/2019 19:14

I don't mind the c word but I love Christmas. Just say Christmas, right? It's not witty or clever.

@Jbraise but what if she was just confused and did actually mean Christmas?

Christmas is a bit of a c@#& though.

Jbraise · 12/09/2019 19:19

@ThisHereMamaBear

She didn’t shorten it she actually referred to someone as a fat cunt (she’s 7)

BreakfastAtLitanies · 12/09/2019 19:20

@Jbraise I thought you meant you called the child a cunt Grin

Jbraise · 12/09/2019 19:25

@BreakfastAtLitanies

Very tempting sometimes x

DPotter · 12/09/2019 19:26

As a crafter, who started making Christmas stock in June, I use the 'C' word to mean Christmas, as in discussions with colleagues we all agree its very early to be talking about 'C' preparations, but has to be done.

I know it's not witty or clever, but I use it never the less.

I hate the other c word and always correct people to ask if they mean vagina. I think it's the hard c sound I dislike.

ThisHereMamaBear · 12/09/2019 20:39

@Jbraise oh dear!

I thought you'd get booted off on here for writing cunt. I feel quite liberated.

I suppose it depends if you are a Merry Christmas sort or a Merry Cuntmas sort...

ThisHereMamaBear · 12/09/2019 20:42

@DPotter what Christmas stock do you make?

DPotter · 12/09/2019 22:12

@ThisHereMamaBear

DPotter · 12/09/2019 22:13
