Sorry posting in here for traffic.
Just wondering how long after having a csection did people regain full feeling if there skin on their lower tummy area back?
It's been 10 weeks now since having my DC, should I be concerned or does it take ages

It's 18 months since my second section, and I still don't have full feeling back. Not convinced I ever will.

That's a relief to hear that it's normal then :)

15 years since my last one (second CS) and there are patches where I have no feeling at all around the scar.

DD is 3.5 and even at 2 years I wouldn’t have liked to go through another pregnancy. I would say it’s probably only been in the last 6-12 months that it’s felt more normal.

My mum is like 33 years past c-section and she still feels twinges and aches in hers

littlepeas · 10/09/2019 20:05

I still have some numbness after 8 years - sorry.

AnneLovesGilbert · 10/09/2019 20:06

Nearly 6 months on and the numbness in some bits and hyper sensitivity on others are fading.

I’m using silicon strips on it which have helped loads. Stopped it hurting and helping it fade much quicker. Mine was an emergency hatchet job so it’s hip to hip and one side is very bumpy but the whole thing is fading and flattening.

My son is 24 and around the scar is still numb.

BananasAreTheSourceOfEvil · 10/09/2019 20:06

9 years and I still have numbness in some areas and extreme sensitivity and pain to touch in others

10 years for my 1st one and still numb/weird lack of sensation. Just had 2nd section so don't see it ever coming back Haha.

cheeseandbiscuitss · 10/09/2019 20:14

My took about 18 months-2 years. Didn't expect it to come back though. (I've had 2 sections)

cokezerothezerohero · 10/09/2019 20:22

I've just checked

DS is 5 in two weeks

The feeling is back completely - however this must be a recent thing 🤷🏽‍♀️
