Am I the only one that thinks this is ridiculous when parents give their child's ages to this ridiculous detail?

The parent in question was a guy I work with. Surely age detail to this degree is only (slightly) useful in a nursery or medical capacity?

I mostly agree op! Although I get bored of explaining my child’s age gap because people always ask about it when I say I have a 1 year old and a 2 year old!! So I often say 2 and a half year old to avoid the endless “oh you didn’t hang about” comments.Grin

Yep. The same with weeks over 7. While we are at it, up to 12 months baby, up to 3 a toddler (at a push), over 3 a preschooler.
