Has anybody felt pregnant and been pregnant before it was too early to take a test?

Sorry - not really an AIBU I know.

Last few days I've felt "different". Had terrible heartburn, sickness, food aversions and I've been knackered. The last time I felt like this I was pregnant.

I've freaked myself out. I've taken a test but it's negative. I think it's too early to take one anyway.

I had my child a couple months ago and haven't had a proper period since, so it's hard to say exactly when I'm due on.

I'm so confused. Has anyone experienced this before? I just "feel" pregnant.

Yes I knew I was pregnant before I took a test, though there were many times when trying I was convinced I had pregnancy symptoms I'd get a negative test result my period would arrive shortly after, pms can feel like early pregnancy.

I've felt like I was pregnant a few times since having both my children, I was breastfeeding and I think it was related to that. It was still happening 2 years into breastfeeding, so not just an initial thing. It'd be so bad I'd have to drink ginger tea and was running off because I wanted to be sick, it was exactly the same as my morning sickness. Only I wasn't pregnant. It seemed to come and go at certain times of my cycle so I assume hormone related, gave me a few scares.

I bled about 2 weeks ago, but only for a couple of days and it was light.

You can get really cheap pink dye test strips from home bargin/pound type shops. Just as good.

Yes all three times I just knew. First time I can't explain how, but I just felt different. Second time I'm convinced I felt implantation cramps as 3 days after dtd I literally doubled over in pain totally randomly one day. Tested positive 2 weeks after. Current pregnancy I again had no reason to think it but I just felt different somehow.

Both times I was convinced I was pregnant and wasn't. The mind plays powerful games on us sometimes. I was 8 weeks pregnant before I actually noticed enough to take a test with my first.

You're only a few months post partum without a proper period back yet. The body does weird things to us in those first few months. Hormones are running rampant inside. It might just be that, but I hope you get the result you want OP.

Yes my nipples were sore from conception, I just knew I was pregnant and took a way 10DPO and there you go I was. However, I have “felt” pregnant many many times, taken tests, got a negative and then period arrives. Just take a test when you can and try not to get too ahead of yourself yet! Yes, with current one I dreamt I was floating in some waves at about one week past conception, and knew from that (bizarre!). No clue with first though - just a niggling feeling I should take a test (v irregular periods at that time)
