Has anybody felt pregnant and been pregnant before it was too early to take a test?

Sorry - not really an AIBU I know.

Last few days I've felt "different". Had terrible heartburn, sickness, food aversions and I've been knackered. The last time I felt like this I was pregnant.

I've freaked myself out. I've taken a test but it's negative. I think it's too early to take one anyway.

I had my child a couple months ago and haven't had a proper period since, so it's hard to say exactly when I'm due on.

I'm so confused. Has anyone experienced this before? I just "feel" pregnant.

Yes, first pregnancy. I just knew. No idea how but I was literally waiting to take the test to show what I knew. My period wasn't even late

@YesQueen That's what I feel like. It's like I just know, woman's instinct maybe. It's strange.

But I'd have no idea when to take a test because my periods have been so irregular since giving birth

I'm even eating the same foods that I did during my last pregnancy. Been craving salty chips/crisps!

Absolutely! With my first I just felt so exhausted one day, in a way I never have before. I just 'knew' I was pregnant, and sure enough I was.

Yup. Every time.

Yes. All three times. The tests just confirmed what I already knew.

Hope you're OK. If you're worrying about two DC close together, it's tough but doable, I speak from experience. If it's not the right time for you, you have options

Yes in both pregnancies. My boobs felt stingy and different and overwhelming tiredness hit immediately.

Yup with my second. I was just shattered, come 10 am and I felt I couldn't even take a deep breath.
Bought a test and tested on the day my period was due.
Positive!
My iron levels were never great and I learned to spot the signs of low iron and the moment I fell pregnant they dropped even further.

I had sudden godawful acne all over my face. Worse than when I was a teenager by miles. Took a test and it was negative. Took another test five days later and it was positive.

Just looked at the dates, I told my friend I was 3 days after we had sex, and I did a test the day before my period was due and it was positive

I've had that awful overwhelming tiredness the past 2 days. It's hit me like a bus.

Normally I can get up early with my baby and feel fine, but I was struggling to function today. So unlike me.

The thought of two babies so close together terrifies me.

My last pregnancy I had no idea I was pregnant so this feeling that I "just know" is so weird. Its exactly how I was when pregnant with ds.

Yep, I start being sick a few days before my period is due. I stop being sick the day the pregnancy stops!

@Outedsochanged oh god, the sickness.. i remember that very well it only hit me when I was 18 weeks but it lasted for weeks. Don't think I could cope with that again!

Yes - my boobs felt larger, as if I'd gained weight but hadn't.

Also weirdly - I had a dream about finding a baby. Dd1 I dreamt I found a baby in an elevator, dd2 I remember dreaming about panicking to get home as I knew there was a baby that had been left under the bed. Ds1 - I can't remember the details but again found a baby. In the morning I thought I should do a pregnancy test as I'd had a weird baby finding dream again!!!

Not with my first two but with my third it came into my head like a bolt out the blue that I was pregnant. We weren't trying and I wasn't due on for a week so had no reason to think I was. I took a test and it was negative which I expected as it was too early, but I just knew I was. A week later I tested positive.

Yup. Felt implantation both times (only confidently recognized it second time). That second time I tested early twice - both were negative but I still knew, just had to wait a few more days.

I swear I knew at the moment of conception, weird because I'd been been on holiday with DH, had sex on Friday night, he left on Saturday and on the Tuesday I knew I was pregnant with dd and I'm sure I only ovulated on Tuesday. I also was sure she would be a girl.

@Horseshoe1 What did implantation feel like for you? I've been feeling mild cramps today too.

Yes I knew with my second. I felt different the morning after she was conceived.

I knew the day after I conceived. My boobs were suddenly sore and my sense of smell changed.

Implantation for me just felt like I was about to come on my period.
