Blush I can't be the only one?

OP posts:
TroysMammy · 09/09/2019 21:19

Makes my skin crawl. He looks like the result of a bad experiment mixing Mr Toad, head goblin at Gringotts and a Jim Henson's puppet in Labyrinth.

Nubbled · 09/09/2019 21:20

After his “stupid woman” comment?
🤮

Actually before that comment 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

NoTheresa · 09/09/2019 21:21

She opened herself up to comment when she went on reality tv for cash

Monday55 · 09/09/2019 21:26

I didn't even know his name until today.. Not my cup of tea unfortunately lol.

TowerRingInferno · 09/09/2019 21:27

YABU

Odious man

namechangedjustfornow · 09/09/2019 21:29

YANBU OP Grin

envelopeofpubes · 09/09/2019 21:29

I’m with you OP

namechangedjustfornow · 09/09/2019 21:29

Sorry I meant YABU!

Charley50 · 09/09/2019 21:29

He's very sweet, like Yoda, but no he doesn't do it for me.

WingBingo · 09/09/2019 21:31

I see it.

littlemissdynamite · 09/09/2019 21:32

He is OK, but doesn't do much for me sorry @Celebelly

SistemaAddict · 09/09/2019 21:33

It's the masterfulness and intelligence that does it for me. I'd love to have drinks and lots of conversation with him in a cosy country pub with a log fire and shelves full of books.

DejaVoodoo · 09/09/2019 21:34

Ooh yes! I’ve had a bit of a thing for him for years!

I saw him on Newsnight or something, years ago, and he was very articulate, sharp and convincing (even though I’m not a Tory).

He’s been a bit of a guilty pleasure ever since Grin

GlassCeilings · 09/09/2019 21:36

So sad he’s standing down! He’s brilliant.

Mumof2bears · 09/09/2019 21:36

No crush but like @Highfivemum I admire his principles in ensuring that parliament's voice is heard and isn't suppressed. Also the fact that he sticks to his guns and doesn't change his mind every five minutes in order to curry favour.

Despite his comments about women and other heavy-handedness, he's definitely my favourite person and exactly what's needed in Westminster at the moment Smile.

CandyLeBonBon · 09/09/2019 21:37

@Mumof2bears has it!!

WhatWouldChristineCagneyDo · 09/09/2019 21:38

Yeah, I confess. I would bang him.

I don't really mind him being short, I'm only average height myself so it makes it easier to do it up against the wall

Mumof2bears · 09/09/2019 21:39

To be clear, he's just my favourite person in Westminster. Not in the whole world, obviously! Grin

dementedma · 09/09/2019 21:40

He’s on the wee side, but sexy, charismatic, intelligent and funny so yes. I’m with the Ayes.
Someone posted a pic of him on one thread when he was much younger, and he was quite tasty.
ORRRRRRRDER!

QualCheckBot · 09/09/2019 21:40

Hmmn, he's very small and I think would be unbearably smug and annoying, and not as bright as he thinks he is.

londonrach · 09/09/2019 21:40

Hes a nasty bully. Yabu and should go to specsavers. I miss betty. She was fair and kept order with some humour.

Karkasaurus · 09/09/2019 21:41

@AgeLikeWine

I would love a marriage like that.

TipseyTorvey · 09/09/2019 21:41

I'm very sad he's going. I feel as though he's a principled character in a sea of weather vanes. Not sure I'd boff him but agree with pp that he'd probably be fun for a drunken fireside chat in a pub. I'll miss him!
