10mo 98th centile for height and weight

Hopefully you can help me stop worrying about this - my 10 month old ds is very very tall for his age, 98th centile. (There are a few six foot + men on both sides, but he’s apparently on track to be 6 foot 2 or 3.) But he’s also 98th centile for weight and I read that from age 2, if he was still on this curve he’d be considered overweight.
I was very overweight as a child and I’ve always said my children will never be allowed to get overweight, so I’m worrying about it.

I give him a very good diet so I know it’s quality food he’s getting, but I am stressing a bit. I really don’t want him to struggle with his weight like I did. Am I being ridiculous? Any advice?

I forgot to add - I was the same as a baby - grew tall very quickly and then slowed right down at secondary school and finished up at 5'8". His dad isn't tall either, 5'9" or 5'10" if I'm being generous lol. It doesn't necessarily mean they'll be really tall as an adult.

Another one to say my not so wee baby DS is now thirteen, one of the tallest among his peers and probably one of the slimmest. Once he started walking and running about he just didn't stop. Takes a lot of fuel to fill his tankGrin

My child was in the 98th percentile as a kid, but he's average height as an adult.
