newish house ( less than 30 years old) has dadoo rail half way up the walls - front door opens in to hall way, up the stairs to upstairs hallway/landing. When we moved in we repainted in haste (young children, lack of time) and I painted over the dadoo rail in the same colour as the walls (think pale, magnolia type colour), now needs re doing, I have more time, and could paint the walls one colour and the dadoo rail in white. Also, is Farrow and Ball paint worth it??

I’m wondering this as well actually, in the middle of taking the woodchip off and smoothing the walls then am putting dado rails in hall/stairs. I have gone for dulux soft stone for the bottom half and almond white for the top. Should I paint the dado with the top colour or bottom? Or just white? My skirtings will be Egyptian cotton
