Has anyone else come across this channel with the kids? My DS and DD love moana and we watch the songs on YouTube dance and sing like crazy.

One day a video played automatically it was from this channel it was a mum playing with her kids a moana game looked quite fun to be fair. From there now my kids have watched ALOT of there vids.

Now anyone that has come across the channel the mum sets up loads of games ect for them to play which seem fun for them but then there is a ridiculous amount of prizes with these games like new toys LOL surprise bags and various crap. Other than that they blog every day life I feel sorry for the kids the mum must constantly have a camera shoved I their faces and some stuff is so staged.

Alot of it I think it for the mums ego for the likes subscribes on youtube AIBU?

We are currently watching "we will buy anything you can carry challenge" so they will buy everything and anything for the kids in target (on holiday in USA) as long as they can carry it

Ive come across these (or similar? I think there’s a lot of them) but I turn them off. The constant focus on consuming things makes me sick and I don’t want the DC hypnotised by it.

I bloody hate kids YouTube tbh. I limit it as much as possible. I don’t mind the likes of Blippi in small doses. But those toy consuming ones... no.

Can you not do a jigsaw with your kids instead of watching mindless drivel with them ?

Wildorchidz yes I could we have plenty of them but as it happens both of them are not well with a horrible cough, sore throat and temps. So no we aren't getting all the puzzles out we are having a chilled day in with films anything they want on the telly with probably some quiet colouring in later / drawing.

I think am going to block the channel to be fair its mind numbing! Now blippy we like!

I know the mum from baby clubs, she is a lovely woman and mum, so I don't agree its for her ego at all. But yes the likes a subscribers earn them money, so they can work less and spend more time together, good for them I say.

I understand the 'constants focus on consuming things' comment but I know they pass a lot of toys to local charities and play groups, so looking at it positively, lots of children who wouldn't get to play with these toys now can due to their donations.

There's a hell of a lot of money in it. I loathe it all but will let my kids have a few minutes of shite on sometimes just as a weird treat.
I don't allow the family ones now though, there were a family a while ago that were in the news from being on there. They weren't being fed and were kept away from school and forced to perform superhero stuff round the clock.
The kids were being treated really badly by the parents in real life it was awful. Since then I feel I'm possibly funding abuse if they watch the family ones
Except bloody Ryan. I've avoided him like the plague but they've done some educational videos lately that are better.
I don't mind a little drivel, I watch neighbours everyone needs a little chill time just being blank for a bit
