Posting here for traffic

I am a primary teacher and most of my students (age 8/9) are not mother tongue English.

In order to help them, I would like to give them a daily inspirational phrase to write and discuss, and a poem to read weekly.

Please help mumsnetters, and share with me your favourites

Thank you

And tomorrow is only a vision.

Makes every yesterday a dream of happiness
And every tomorrow a vision of hope.

More of a warning than inspiration, but it's one of quotes I live by.

Just 'Cos You Got The Power,
That don't mean you got the right

If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.

If you think life is easy, then you're not doing it right.
