To ask you for your favourite inspiration quotes and poems

I am a primary teacher and most of my students (age 8/9) are not mother tongue English.

In order to help them, I would like to give them a daily inspirational phrase to write and discuss, and a poem to read weekly.

Please help mumsnetters, and share with me your favourites

I like the Thomas Edison one (not sure if I've got wording exactly correct):
