Two dozen plain scones (to rhyme with stones) fresh out of the oven just now, bound for a civic church service in town this afternoon. I'll be putting my pinny on again later to help split, jam and clotted cream them. Cream on top, naturally; we don't want civic unrest breaking out!

Came home from holiday to find this sitting on our fence post. Gift from next door neighbour- we are having a competition to find ugly stuff to hide in each other's gardens.
