Can someone with sense just sign us up to the Norway option and we can all call it a day? Brexiters get Brexit in name and the EU can still make our sensible laws (like workers rights).

Have to agree with Adidasbunny. I can't help but think that if TM had never bothered with those bloody red lines and gone after a hard brexit that we would have left by now. She should have gone for the softest option possible, delivered Brexit and be done. Yes, the likes of Farage and Rees Mogg would still be bleating on about how they were stuffed, but no one could argue we hadn't left. I say this as a remainer who would prefer to stay but if we must leave then would like to stay in the custom union and single market.

Yes and may there be many more, if this is something that is going to end up killing people. Historians can use these archives to get a sense of the public's lack of sanity at the time.

Yeah, and there's a board for it. Because the amount of threads that just completely took over active topics and AIBU and Chat at the time people got fed up and asked for a board.
Now it's all over again. I get it's relevant, but its the same old hysteria threads and bunfights all over again.

You don't know "people are going to get killed.".
Nobody knows what is going to happen and I don't see the point in catastrophising.

The public shouldn't be sleepwalking in to this. That's how we got in to this mess in the first place. AIBU is the most active part of this site for a reason, and it's the place where these topics will have the most exposure. Nothing has taken over this site, you're the one with the ironic hysteria to stress about a random internet message board tbh. You can scroll and not click, or you can try to become a moderator at MNHQ. But if you just want to come to the thread because you think it's edgy to complain, then you are adding nothing to the conversation and it comes across as attention seeking.

I've been around long enough to remember the board being set up as people got fed up with the absolute scaremongering and barely anything else posted apart from Brexit.
If it makes me "attention seeking" to point this out, then so be it.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that if the doctor has nothing to treat a person with, the hospitals will be shut and people will die. Walk right on in to a crisis by choice though, it's not like anyone's going to be able to stop you.
