To wonder what Stanley thinks of a few things?

1. If his son Al is going to last much longer in the job he has wanted for decades.
2. If the relationship between Al & Jo will ever be repaired.
3. How healthy Al & Carrie's relationship is.
4. How much of a toll all the above is going to take on Al.

Forgetting the current dire political situation in the UK, as Boris Johnson"s father alone, Stanley must be pretty stressed.

I doubt Stanley has heard of the word stress. Feel sorry for Jo though - seems to be the white sheep of the family.

I wonder at Carrie Symonds. Yes of course she's entitled to her choice but I do wonder what an intelligent woman, successful in her own right, gets out of a relationship with a dishonest, manipulative, disrespectful slob like Al Johnson.

I hope Jo comes back into a public role in future, he does have a lot more to offer than his brother.

If I was Stanley I'd be wondering how rubbish is christmas going to be...

Ooh, sunday dinner will be fun. Stanley will be behind him all the way. As for Carrie? Bewildering.
