Daughter driving me round bend

I obvs totally adore my clever beautiful wonderful daughter. But right now she’s driving me round the bend!!!
She’s home from school and insisting on using this weird sing songy whispering voice, saying she’s just sooo bored. Occasionally just staring at me, intermittently sighing at her phone. I just want her normal voice back and for her to say something constructive. I’ve asked how she is how school was, normal conversation. Only response I get is, “I don’t know” How does she not know how school was, she was there!!!!!
I know she’s just being a teenager but she does this so often and it ends in her stropping off when I’ve had enough and eventually snap and the whole flakey demeanour. Gahhhh!
I need a rant, sorry not really an AIBU.

Leave her alone. She doesn't want to recount how school was.

Kids, especially teens, especially at the beginning of term when they're knackered and everything's changed, need some quiet decompression time after school.

Not an inane and pointless "conversation" from a parent.
