Blinds

Ordered three made to measure blinds. Installer came in and said roof is plaster board and not strong enough to hold the blinds. AIBU to expect that the company should have informed me of this prior to ordering the blinds?

Surely the fitter just needs the right fittings? We live in a newish build where everything is plasterboard and we’ve got blinds hanging from the ceiling in every room and kitchen cupboards attached to plasterboard walls.
