I'm trying to remember the source for a quote I once heard. I think it was from a film, and it was something like:

^By the time you're looking for the trick, it's already happened
^
That wording is likely not accurate, but it was similar to that.

I think it was in a film about stage magic, but I can't remember what. It might even have been a book. I've googled it but to no avail.

Does it ring any bells with anyone?
