Shamelessly posting here for traffic (sorry!).
Got married today in Bakewell, and my husband (ahhh!) has lost an heirloom of his late grandmother's that his mum bought for him to have in his pocket today.
It's a small (as in aprox coin sized) silver coloured horseshoe that she had from her own wedding, and he's really devastated to have lost it. We went to the town hall, the garden near it, and the co-op car park. We walked the "long way" from the carpark to the town hall, looping round past the wheatsheaf and past the bridge over the river then back towards the registry office. Realised straight away and retraced our steps but have had no luck. Don't suppose anyone may have been there today and by some miracle has seen it?
