Using maternity tens machine for period pain?

Hi. Been looking at tens machines and was wondering if anyone who used the ones for labour have used them since for period pains and if it works? The normal tens machines all seem to have smaller pads etc

I don't have kids, but seeing as period pains are the same as labour pains, (though not as bad obviously,) that a TENS machine for labour would be perfect for period pains.

I used a tens machine during labour and thought it was shite

I've never used one but I do know someone else who uses one for period pain - she seems to find it helpful.

DF uses one for arthritis and swears by it!

I also found it shite in labour...
