To be pissed off on my holiday

I'm staying with my 3 kids in a 4 star hotel in Greece which was marketed as being family friendly.
By day it's wonderful but it's a nightmare by night. The noise and aggression on the site is awful to listen to and my heart aches for the two women who I've heard being hit and screamed at. Out of 12 nights I've not slept for 5. It's 02.30 here and I've lain awake for the last two hours listening to the person next door vomit and cry. AIBU to be fed up??

Sounds awful OP. Flowers Are you on a package? If so complain to your rep / holiday company asap. They may be able to help. If not, at least you've logged it whilst there if you pursue it back home.

If not a package, can you call security / reception to complain. Especially if there's assaults happening.

On Saturday night the lady above me was assaulted by her partner. Security and police involved. I spoke to the rep as the hotel seemed more concerned about the noise (which was horrendous on many levels) to make sure the lady had some support.

It's sad, the hotel is lovely with friendly staff and great food but the noise at night is enough to keep us all awake.

2 nights to go.

Make noise recordings (for either criminal or claim evidence), it's horrible that's you've not even been offered a different room.
