Aibu to think, that if he really gave a shit about the puppy he's just adopted he would not have had it delivered in a carrier via the front door of no.10 with all the attendant camera flashes and noise.

Just thinking back to adopting my dogs and, both times, their wellbeing was paramount. And they joined our family at a point where we had time to spend with them, gaining their trust, building that bond and learning how best to develop a two-way communication with them.

Surely he's too busy to devote himself to this important task at the moment?

Yep. And it wont really be his dog.
Both he and the woman he is living with have jobs that are too full on to have a dog.

DeepDarkWoods · 02/09/2019 17:19

Its just for the attention.

StrakerAndBarlow · 02/09/2019 17:21

Poor dog...imagine being afflicted with BoJo Sad

Si1ver · 02/09/2019 17:22

His PR are clearly scrabbling desperately for anything to make him look marginally better.

MissGiddyPants · 02/09/2019 17:23

Lol.

Another barrel being scraped.

chomalungma · 02/09/2019 17:23

I wonder who came up with the idea of this distraction?

It's a dead cat strategy.

whattodowith · 02/09/2019 17:24

It’s such a shit distraction. That and him laughing with Brexit loving Babs Windsor In his garden. Should make us forget about him fucking with democracy.

MatildaTheCat · 02/09/2019 17:24

What a lovely man to adopt a poor little puppy with a malformed jaw that nobody else wants. Hmm

mnahmnah · 02/09/2019 17:25

PR stunt for of course

mnahmnah · 02/09/2019 17:26

*of course!

ImNotYourGranny · 02/09/2019 17:26

Larry The Cat on twitter suggested the dog be called 'Distraction The PR Dog'. I think that's pretty apt.

SugarHockeyIcedTea · 02/09/2019 17:31

If I was BoJos dog I would use the opportunity to create utter havoc inside number 10.

I'd shit in all his shoes, chew that flattened Guinea pig he calls a hairdo clean off, I'd figure out how to break into the computers (password code probably-1234) then set emails to all in an attempt to fix up this monumental fuck up we are in.

I'd wee in all his drawers (both pants and chest of's) I'd eat all his food and puke everywhere and I'd hide a small microphone on my collar to record all the drivel he spouts and send it to the press.

Not that I've given it much thought...

Underdone · 02/09/2019 17:49

Hahaha! @SugarHockeyIcedTea

The thing is, that the things you describe are pretty much guaranteed puppy behaviour (apart from the microphone business Grin).

I just can't imagine Boho being happy woken in the middle of the night to take her out to the loo. He strikes me as a supremely selfish individual.

He’ll be kissing babies next

hoodiemum · 11/03/2020 08:41

And now it turns out they're planning to ditch it already. Big surprise.
At least it might have a chance of decent owners at some point.

Nothing that idiot does surprises me.
They should have been home checked and turned down as unsuitable owners.
I would hope it bites him on his big bum but then the dog would suffer so i hope it just shits in his bed.
