Cute dog, shame about the owners.

KUGA · 02/09/2019 17:12

Brexit would have been a better name.
Or catfood.

PortiaCastis · 02/09/2019 17:13

Stop insulting the intelligence of the electorate and using a poor little puppy to do it, we we're not born yesterday and won't fall for the PR crap

BeerandBiscuits · 02/09/2019 17:16

It'd make a great episode of In the Thick of It.
Going for a snap General Election, better get all the dog lovers on side. Quick find a cute abandoned puppy.
Nice one Boris Grin

Sedlescombe · 02/09/2019 17:16

Sadly portiacastis the evidence is we do as a nation fall for it. Like the time he said he made model buses to hide the boris bus lie and to deflect from the domestic abuse allegations.

Saucery · 02/09/2019 17:18

No one is going to vote for him who wouldn’t have voted for him anyway just because he’s got a dog Grin

Honestly, this place sometimes......

FaFoutis · 02/09/2019 17:18

The OP fell for it. If the OP is not employed by Johnson, that is.

Pumperthepumper · 02/09/2019 17:19

His kids will love playing with that puppy when they visit their father and his girlfriend. All five children. Or is it six? How many does he have?

Theworldisfullofgs · 02/09/2019 17:20

He hasn't got time to have a dog.

chomalungma · 02/09/2019 17:20

I think this is the kind of distraction from Yes Prime Minister.
In The Quality of Life, the PM distracts from negative headlines by visiting a city farm. Animals and children are good PR

Next it will be a small war.

Saucery · 02/09/2019 17:21

Where does the OP say they will definitely, positively now change their vote and put a cross in the box for BJ come election time?
Maybe these two would have been more his style, who knows.

NomDeQwerty · 02/09/2019 17:23

I wonder who'll be putting the time in with that puppy so that it's properly socialised and trained. What a cheap trick. It does no good for rescue dogs at all to bandy about the idea that even in massive crisis mode an owner can just pick one up like an accessory. That dog will pick up on Twatboy's stress levels even if he's swarmed its care off onto this new woman.

NomDeQwerty · 02/09/2019 17:24

Palmed not swarmed Hmm

Saucery · 02/09/2019 17:24

Victoria Stilwell will be involved in the training, I believe.

NomDeQwerty · 02/09/2019 17:25

And? So what?

Winsomelosesome · 02/09/2019 17:27

Well they're clearly not going to have time for a puppy and all it's needs, all they've done here is show how irresponsible and thoughtless they are. I might have had a modicum of respect if they'd rescued one of the many oldies languishing in kennels for months/years who'd have happily spent their days snoozing on a comfy sofa. That puppy was never going to spend long in a rescue.

ChickenNuggetsChipsAndBeans · 02/09/2019 17:27

Ok.. so whilst I am busy worrying that I wont have access to the medicine that I need to keep me out of hospital, and others have sleepless nights about their jobs post brexit, Boris adopts a puppy.

Awwwww.

Saucery · 02/09/2019 17:27

Someone asked who will be putting in the time to socialise and train him, Nom, so I answered. So......that.

Saucery · 02/09/2019 17:28

Oh, in fact it was you who asked, Nom how funny!
Do you often ask questions on the internet and see your own arse when someone answers them? A bit weird, that.

ImNotYourGranny · 02/09/2019 17:29

I bet Boris won't be out picking up its shit of the Downing Street lawn anytime soon.

ImNotYourGranny · 02/09/2019 17:29

*off

Cheeseoncrumpets · 02/09/2019 17:30

Very cute dog, but what a bizare thing to do to try and garner good publicity.

JaneJeffer · 02/09/2019 17:31

He looks sad and who can blame him.

Saucery · 02/09/2019 17:32

I doubt he clears Larry’s litter out either. Or clean his own toilet, iron his own shirts or makes his own decisions about Brexit.
Still doesn’t change the fact they have raised the profile of dog rescues.

PooWillyBumBum · 02/09/2019 17:33

Let's hope the dog stays well clear next time he gets violent.
