AIBU to enjoy the aromas from my herbs/spices/condiment cupboard (light-hearted)?

Just that really. The mixture of everything in there...yum.

What scents do you find surprisingly appealing?

I like the smells from the cupboard I keep my spices in too - but I was astounded a couple of months ago when my DD opened my cupboard door and took in a big breath and told me they really loved the smell of my cupboard. They left home years ago and I don't have anything hugely exotic in there, just what I would call 'the usual'. I always buy a certain brand of washing up liquid because I like the smell - it isn't the most effective one by any means but it makes me happy.

You can't beat a bit of mixed spice and/or cinnamon!

And I always have to smell the washing up liquid (lemon or apple mostly)

I love the smell of sesame oil and often open the bottle just to smell it. Lovely. Smile

Cinnamon, spices like you...

And dettol, I love that smell!

Not at all. I love those smells. Going to an Indian or Chinese food wholesaler is heaven.

Oh I love that smell when I open my larder, a mix of all the spices, marmite and curry powder...makes me feel all fuzzy & warm - your not alone OP Smile
