I have a finding of facts hearing next week and I am extremely scared.
I cannot afford to have a lawyer represent me so I will be representing myself. I do not think my ex has representing either as the previous 5 hearings he has not.
I understand that I will be able to ask to him questions about the abuse and he will be able to ask me questions. On his reply to my allegations he said for every point 'why did she not go to the police'. All I can say to answer that in court is that I did not have the strength to and without the non molestation order I would not have been able to speak up.
I do not know how emotionally I will be and I don't know what questions to ask him. Do I directly say 'why did you punch me on ....' or is it questions like 'Have you ever hit me?'
Does anyone have experience with finding of facts hearing? What questions do the victims ask?
