I was severely sexually abused as a child... my family think I have psychosis but I actually have Dissociative Identity Disorder, am I being unreasonable to tell them the truth now

Please, please get some professional help, if you have not already. You really need all the help you can get. I am so sorry to hear of your situation. Please tell your family, if you wish to but do get some help with how to go about this. Thanks

Tell the truth.
They may deny it but from your end, you are telling the truth, which for you is an incredibly strong and brave thing to do and will help you grow.
If they deny it it may hurt you for a while but its only stopping themselves from growing.
Believe in yourself .

If your family members love you, the only downside is they'll wish they could have been there for you much earlier. I wish you all the peace in the world. x
