Hi I need advice I’m a step mam figure to two children and have been for 2.5 years. Me and my partner have had the eldest for the whole time and the youngest every weekend and a Tuesday and Thursday until 7;30pm and all school holidays she is 5! Well we recently needed to go to court as mam stopped our contact and when we got her after 3 days she hadn’t been changed clothes or washed. Mam has lots of issues mainly hard drugs and alcohol but can’t seem to stop for the sake of her children and I dispair for them! I wish she would stop but the kids are safe here however now supervised contact has been agreed on the two days per week We have the job of trying to ignore what mam is saying like don’t listen to her and dad she is nothing to you so this week it’s swearing she said it’s ok I’ve obviously sAid it’s wrong you’re 5 please don’t do that! Mammy said I don’t need to listen to you as you’re not my mam! Help this is seriously little in comparison but I need help from mothers
