To be glad PPI is coming to an end?

Just that really.

I'm sick of it all and the relentless phone calls.

I was wondering what all the people employed by these companies will do now? Do they all just switch to accident claims or something?

LemonRedwood · 29/08/2019 14:09

I saw a new ad about claiming for a mis-sold mortgage. I imagine that will be the new thing that all the claims companies will leap on now.

I used to work at a PPI company, I don’t anymore but I did recently see that all these poor people lost their jobs as the company shut down.
Other companies will go on to someone else, they already have the equipment and the staff so will be some other campaign for many hopefully.

Next waive:

  1. Mis-sold mortgages
  2. Mis-sold investments (any that made a loss)
  3. Mis-sold houses (any that are leasehold)
  4. Mis-sold flats (any with a ground rent which could one day reach more than £250.00 pa)

There are probably more, but those are the ones of which I am aware.

I am not losing any sleep about the people that work in the mis-selling industry losing their jobs

Mis sold loans/credit cards etc

I work in PPI, case work though not those people who call you. Everyone at the bank I work at is a contractor, so we'll just move onto other jobs. We're expected to have a contract until around Dec/Jan. There's decent money to be made if you don't mind the instability of it.
