To dislike hearing aid adverts

I wear 2 hearing aids and they are nowhere near as good as the ads make out! Even the very expensive ones don't filter out background noise as much as they say they do!

I have the power of voting!

Does everyone now?

Both my MIL and my DF have had private hearing aids which cost a bomb and when they got to needing an upgrade I persuaded them to go back to the NHS . They are
Both very happy with the aids they have and the service from the local audiology services. Both have a programme that helps to cut down the background noise, and although not perfect, they find this as good as the very expensive private aids.

Money for old rope IMO! But I think it does depend on local audiology services- they are pretty good round here.

NHS service has been brilliant!
