I agree! I saw photos of them and felt so bad for them having to wear the full uniform but of course they need to protect themselves. I'm melting in front of a fan in shorts and a tshirt!

I’m not at NHC but have been on football duties all weekend. It’s been awful. Thankfully I’m off today and could bring my stab vest home for a wash

Ah yes, that must be so difficult in this weather. Definitely a shout out to them and all emergency services working in this heat.

YANBU, in fact I feel sorry for all police officers having to work outside in this heat with all their uniform/gear on.
