Puerto Pollensa? Nice promenade by the sea, lots of restaurants. Hope you find somewhere.

CoffeeRunner · 24/08/2019 20:10

Zante? Alykanas & Alykes are small, beautiful, quiet resorts and reasonably priced. Pretty much flat.

Queenioqueenio · 24/08/2019 20:11

Playa Blanca in Lanzarote has a long wide promenade stretch that goes on for a good few KM’s. Also taxis are plentiful & reasonably priced.

Windygate · 24/08/2019 20:12

Seaside or city?

Ibizama · 24/08/2019 20:13

What's a rollator?

Nutkin123 · 24/08/2019 20:14

Second vote for puerto pollensa! Lovely place! Also calella de palafrugel on the costa brava is beautiful too!

Babdoc · 24/08/2019 20:15

Los Cristianos in Tenerife is very disabled friendly - wide ramps built into anywhere necessary along the fairly flat seafront promenade. Would be nice and warm in November, and not too long a flight (Canary Islands, 3 or 4 hours, depending whether you’re in England or Scotland.)

furrybadger · 24/08/2019 20:16

Cala d”or Mallorca

Babdoc · 24/08/2019 20:17

Oops, October, I mean! But actually nice all winter. Puerto Pollensa can be wet in the autumn.

monkeysox · 24/08/2019 20:17

Cala bona and calla millor majorca

CaptainMyCaptain · 24/08/2019 20:19

Another vote for Puerto Pollensa. It's lovely with a long flat promenade.

What's a rollator???Confused

PositiveVibez · 24/08/2019 20:21

Benidorm!

Venger · 24/08/2019 20:22

A rollator is a walking frame.

PapaShango · 24/08/2019 20:22

What's a rollator
Google it

Second Lanzarote and puerta pollensa

Butterfly02 · 24/08/2019 20:25

Have you also thought about hiring a wheelchair while your there. I use a stick - put off getting chair for years but got one last year before a holiday and we managed to do so much more than usual. Costa brava has lots of flat resorts - just depends on weather that time of year. Canaries may be warmer and have lots of flat resorts.

Why would I be angry?

pooopypants · 24/08/2019 20:33

Benidorm is supposed to be really flat, the part I stayed in was hilly as fuck. Stay in the old town and you'll be grand.

Consider hiring a doodle buggy maybe, it's easier on your hands and arms

youarenotkiddingme · 24/08/2019 20:37

Costa Del sol is flat as long as you book an apartment on the beach front.

Barney1234 · 24/08/2019 20:52

Absolutely love it there

Span1elsRock · 24/08/2019 20:57

Seconding Puerto Pollensa, also Calpe in Spain is very pretty.

nooddsocksforme · 24/08/2019 20:58

Pollensa ( not puerto pollensa ) is lovely - old town with nice restaurants .
But would also recommend Girona in Spain. Easy to get to, small, dubbed a mini Barcelona. Lots of fabulous restaurants which are reasonably priced. Small enough to walk round easily .

TimeForNewStart · 24/08/2019 21:02

She thinks people might be angry because she is posting in AIBU when actually Chat might be more appropriate.

I second Tenerife. Los Cristianos is a good option however the city center slightly goes up, so not totally flat and in between the streets, there are stairs. So you want to be sure where your flat will be.
However, the beach front is flat and next to it Playa de las Vistas is 100 5 flat and there is even a rehabilitation called Vintersol.
I would suggest the Parquet Santiago 3. en.parquesantiagotenerife.es
There are several parque Santiago all within meters of each others and they are have the sc options. The location would be perfect for you and there are cafe, supermarket right on your doorstep. It is not "party central", you wouldn't have the discos and crazy bar. The sport bars are further up.
IF looking for alternatives, keep in mind that two streets up, it starts going uphill. I know Tenerife very very well, happy to comment on your aparthotel choice.
