Preseed bleeding / spotting

Has anyone experienced bleeding after using preseed? We used it yesterday and today and both times I experienced bleeding straight after which hasn’t happened before.
We’re using a donor for home insemination so use a syringe each time to insert the sperm. But we heard so many good things about preseed we decided to get some. But both times I have bled with it.

I’m sorry, no, I didn’t bleed and used it for a few months.

Do you bleed when you don’t use it? I’m wondering if your syringe application is a little rough, or jabby? (Sorry, couldn’t think of a better word)

Ovulation spotting more likely than preseed causing ?

I use my usual syringes for the sperm which have always been fine. They’re especially made for sperm insemination with a point tip.
There are different syringes for the preseed and I wondered if it could be those scratching as it goes in maybe? Or if it is something to do with the actual gel itself? It’s just strange that I bled both times using that, straight after. I wasn’t in pain or anything. I’ve seen people say on forums that it’s burnt or stung them. I didn’t experience that, just the bleeding.

Is it making things more slippery and you are jabbing yourself with the syringe and irritating your cervix?

LetMeIn321 · 23/08/2019 09:54

I don't think it could be that because the pointy syringe can only go so are really. It isn't very big. I'm really not sure what it could be. I think I'll continue using it because it does actually really help the other syringe go in far easier which makes it less stressful. And I have heard many people say they've had success using preseed - whatever the reason for that is but we're will to try whatever could help.

Did you ever find out what caused this?
