To ask for help finding this woollen throw?!

I half watched 'Inside the Factory' last whilst whilst DS plopped porridge on to the sofa instead on in to his mouth.

One moment caught my attention though which was when the history segment lady was making a bed. She put down this amazing red and blue wooden blanket and I absolutely must find it.

I have reversed google imaged it to no avail and attached is the best photo I could nab of it.

Can anyone shed any light?!

Looks more like fleece to me.

I'm pretty certain it was all about wool @gingerginger2 (though I was only half listening) and that the throw was deffo wool. She was near some sheep at some point if I remember correctly.

That looks very very similar @picklemepopcorn but like I say I'm pretty certain it was wool rather than fleece...

Looks similar to a traditional witney horse blanket, usually gold with black and red stripes. Had a quick google and there is a blue stripe one on Friday Fox but I think only for horses or dogs!

Looks like an old fashioned Newmarket blanket - something similar to this www.fridayfox.co.uk/English-Horse-Blanket-Square?osCsid=7445mj4oaufp7udl2dnmrj6v43

Thank you @9Polhar9 and @snowpo that's exactly what it is!!

Well it'll be keeping this old mare warm over the winter.

I knew mumsnet would deliver the answers.

It's kinda like a Hudson Bay blanket

Cherrysoup · 22/08/2019 22:31

Newmarkets are yellow stripes, tho? And fleece, usually. You can get it in a jacket, if you want!
