Watching Come Dine With Me

I know this programme's long past its best but, just vegging with some afternoon tv and one of the competitors decided to sing for the benefit of his guests. Sing badly.Why would you do this? And how honest would you be when asked what you thought of it? AIBU to say this is no way to behave?

I'd probably make all the right 'ooh' and 'aah' noises but be cringing inside.

Urgh. Reminds me of those people who draw or paint, or sometimes - and this is the worst - write a poem or something autobiographical, then, having read it out to you, demand your 'really honest' opinion. It's an impossible situation to put someone in and makes me very cross indeed.
