Would I be unreasonable to ask you all about the most ridiculous argument you and your partner have had? Here is mine...

Boyfriend: "Oh I see you're drinking your favourite pop again. Perhaps you should drink more water instead."

Me: "No, I seem to pee so much more if I drink plain water compared to drinks like hemp milk or green tea for example."

Boyfriend: looks at me funny "What is the main ingredient in your pop?"

Me: "Water."

Boyfriend: "Exactly! Drinks are made with mostly water."

Me: Looks at bottle ingredients "The lable doesn't specify how much water is in my pop. It could be more fruit juice than water. How are you to know? I mean you can clearly see it is more orange than anything else."

Boyfriend: shakes his head at me in disbelief and chuckles away to himself

Me: "See! You cannot tell me. Why say that if you cannot answer the question?"

Boyfriend: unable to speak now due to full on laughing

Me: "Keep laughing all you want, Mr. Brainiac."

To be fair I barely slept the night before and my head was away with the fairies. I'm normally pretty logical and quite intelligent. ☺

Are you drinking council pop?

HangryPants · 22/08/2019 22:23

Also YABU, even if your drink was mostly fruit juice, that is mostly water.

JoxerGoesToStuttgart theres one sat in my bloody living room. Fuck knows where he gets this shit from or where I found him Grin

He also pronounces the TV programme 'Gogglebox' as 'Google box'

As in Google.co.uk.

Good job I love him. He can be a tit. Grin

I leave DH to hang pictures now. The only screaming rows we've ever had, ever, have been over the height at which to hang pictures.

It's clearly a family fault trait SIL's husband tells me she hangs theirs too low as well

cheeseislife8 · 22/08/2019 23:23

@Ilikethisone that may have been one of my statements Grin
