To just have a rant

I just feel so run down.

I've had a cold for the last week. My head has been killing, blinking hurts. My eyes feels like they have big bruises around them. I'm exhausted.

Yesterday (and still today) a random toothache started.

And to top it off, this morning I all of a sudden have this painful urge that I need to pee, but when I go, nothing.

Why meeeeeeeee 😩😩😩

Ah, I hate weeks like this, I hope yours gets better, you have my sympathy!
Whenever I feel like this, I reserve an evening of doing exactly what I want. Get some chocolate and wine, a crappy movie and a cosy blanket and just give up on life for a little while, it'll work wonders :)

Oh gosh the thought of wine makes me feel worse and I normally love a glass of wine!

Sadly I'm at work but think it might be best to go home 😩. I need a holiday!

Homemade mocktail if you can't face alcohol? Alternatively, melt an entire bar of chocolate, stick it in a mug with whipped cream on the top and call it a hot chocolate Wink

Pamper evenings also do the trick to feel a little bit better, or book a night in a local hotel if you can't go too far and have a little holiday :)

The needing to wee but nothing happens combined with the other symptoms could be a UTI. Have you had/got a temperature?

foosbal · 20/08/2019 18:09

I left work early today and went to see my GP - I've been given antibiotics for a UTI. I suspect that's what has generally made me feel run down and yucky!

Bath and an early night I think will do me good!

Have to go back for bloods etc too for the prolonged tiredness etc but hopefully this will be the start of feeling better!

Yay I love it when I am right! I may retrain as a doctor.

Poor you OP hope you feel better soon.
