Sorry for AIBU just need the traffic

My work have paid monies into my account that I have not requested. They are ignoring my emails asking them for the details to return the money.

It is important that I return it should this not be used against me in a court case.

I have tried via my bank but they cannot track the details and I have tried asking them.

I need proof that I sent this. Does anyone have any ideas how this can be done?

Write to them and get the free record of postage from the post office. Tell them you need to know how to return the money, ask them to please provide you with details of where and how to do this, bank details, etc.

Obviously don't spend the money. If your finances are tight and you're worried you might accidentally spend some, us it possible to open a new account to keep the money in until they get back to you?

A court case? I think you're jumping the gun a bit. I'm sure they'll get back to you shortly.
