Dry buddy

Am dreading trying to dry clothes in winter, would you recommend a dry buddy do they actually work and how much do they cost to run?

Is a dry buddy a heated wrack? If yes then I would recommend. £100 from John Lewis. Have mine on about once a day, my bills don’t seem that much higher, but I’ve not actually looked into the electric cost of it.
