Neighbour’s kids house party in garden next door

It's nearly midnight, his parents are away and they are all, maybe 15 - 20 of them, singing extremely loud in the garden. I have a 3 month old and can't sleep. Tried texting him to ask him to tone it down but no response. WWYD ? They don't normally have form for this but also didn't tell us he was hosting a party.

Bet his parents don’t know about it

Throw him under a bus when they get home! I’d exaggerate and get him in serious hot water but I’m petty AF! Grin

It's a one off op
Stop overreacting ffs

The world doesnt revolve around you and your dc. Just suck it up for 1 night. You will be ok

verystressedmum · 18/08/2019 03:31

It's a one off party it's not like it happens every weekend.

I never complained or said anything about the teenagers having parties every so often I always said one day it will be my kids having parties.

Toneitdown · 18/08/2019 03:43

I think people didn't read the OP properly. They were screeching in the garden after midnight. They could have just moved the party inside after OP knocked. No need for them to be so anti social.

PancakeAndKeith · 18/08/2019 08:23

Assuming the op lives in a town then it’s not just her that is being pissed off by this.

Stressedout10 · 18/08/2019 08:38

Wow why is everyone flaming the OP
No one should be making that sort of noise past 11pm, its not ok because it doesn't happen often. The neighbour's kid is still an antisocial twit

Iamanaubergine · 18/08/2019 08:49

Totally with you OP. Hope you managed to get some sleep. So many selfish people around nowadays.

SeriouslyEnoughAlreadyRantOver · 18/08/2019 08:54

Nothing to do with having a baby or not.

It's antisocial, rude and unacceptable to make yourself a nuisance for your neighbours.

Some posters are clearly some of these loud CF who have no respect for others, but no, it's never right to be that loud. Move in the middle of nowhere if you want to make noise!

Why, why, WHY the fuck do people think like this. Inflicting loud antisocial noise is never acceptable. Why do the party giver's wants trump the wants of all the people living nearby? Some of whom could have work today, be ill, be elderly and feel threatened by drunken shouting and swearing, have small children/babies who are being kept awake etc etc. Or maybe they've just had a knackering week and fancy a good night's sleep.

But no, it seems the world does revolve around the selfish prats who want to have a party. Fuck everyone else Angry

I hope you got up at 6, mowed the lawn, jet washed the patio..screeched at each other over the noise.. as near to their side ad as possible. . Wink
