My DS does not want to see his df tonight aibu to let him day at home

Or should I convince him to go see his df? He last saw him properly a week ago but it was a stressful visit for him. DS says he just does not feel like it tonight.

How old is he? I would say (having been a child who didn't like seeing her dad and now has no contact) that if he really doesn't want to go and it's making him anxious then don't make him. However, maybe later have a proper chat about what it is he doesn't like etc?

He's 11. He says he just doesn't feel like it. I things last visit was a bit heavy. His dad can be a bit serious with his conversation and ds just wants to be light hearted and have a bit of fun. Stbxh will not be too happy if he doesn't go tho
