Had pay reviews at my workplace and got told I was line for a 40% increase. I am shortly due to finish a professional qual and had expected one after this but assumed I had been given it earlier. Found out today that HR fucked up and actually will not receive this for several months. Aibu to be pretty furious?

I'd there a set criteria for when this money is paid after qualification?
